Sikkim’s Chief Minister and SKM Ruling Party President, Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), made a strong statement on Sunday regarding the opposition’s baseless accusations.

Tamang accused opposition parties, groups, and individuals of creating unnecessary controversy by linking the IT exemption case to the dilution of Article 371 F among innocent people.

He urged them to provide evidence of how the rights and privileges of Sikkimese people were being diluted instead of making baseless accusations. Tamang even offered to resign from his post if they could prove their claims.

Tamang criticized those who were attempting to achieve their goals for vested interests without knowing the actual facts and figures. He warned them that those days were gone and that people were now aware of their malicious intentions to disturb peace and harmony in Sikkim by hiring goons from outside.
