A young man lost his hand while attempting to lodge-off a moving train at Siliguri junction in broad daylight on Thursday. According to reports, the local DMU train, which was bound for Radhikapur-Siliguri, was approaching the Siliguri junction when the young man carelessly tried to get off the train. Unfortunately, he slipped below the flyover, and the train cut off his hand. The injured young man was later taken to a nearby city hospital by the Railway Police. The young man’s identity remains unclear until the report is generated by syndication. Police have started the investigation in the matter.
