On very early morning of 4 April, famous playback singer Arijit Singh arrived in Siliguri via train, leaving fans and media surprised. In a short video he’s seen running from the swelling crowd , police tries their level best to provide protection from crowd. He is presumed to have arrived New Jalpaiguri Station around 2:30 AM in Teesta Torsa Express Train.
He is scheduled to perform live at Kanchenjung Stadium and is expected to sing 50 songs in a three-hour show. The stage for the event has been completed, and thousands of people are expected to attend from various regions including the North Eastern states, Darjeeling Hills, Sikkim, adjoining states, as well as Nepal and Bhutan.
As previously reported, ticket prices range from Rs 1,999 to Rs 60,000, and it is estimated that over 20,000 people will be in attendance. The organizers have made elaborate arrangements for the event, including the transportation of instruments via 20 trucks from Mumbai and the deployment of 300 bouncers, 100 security guards, 300 volunteers, and hundreds of police personnel in and around the stadium to ensure safety and security.
