As per the Press Release from the office of Special Secretary cum Director(Planning), Education Department ‘National Awardee 2022 Teacher Seen Off By Education Department For Exposure Trip To Japan’.
Monday morning, the Education Department saw off National Awardee 2022 teacher Ms. Mala Dorjee, Principal, Modern Senior Secondary School Gangtok, for embarking on an exposure trip to Japan.
Shri R. Telang, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, wished her all the best and advised her to gain much from the education system in Japan.
The Additional Chief Secretary was accompanied by Mrs. Gloria G. Namchu, Special Secretary and Director (Planning), and Mrs. Lamkila Bhutia, Joint Director (Planning).
National awardee 2022, Shri Siddhartha Yonzom, Principal, EMRS, Gangyap, will also be going on this trip.
The State Government, as initiated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) is sending the two national awardee teachers on the foreign exposure trip. This trip includes school visits in Japan with the purpose of learning from their best practices.
