New Delhi, 22 March : As a magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Tuesday night, strong tremors rattled parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR.
Around 10.20 p.m., when the earthquake struck northern India, terrified residents fled their homes. Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan felt strong tremors. There were no immediate reports of fatalities or damage to property.

According to a report from the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake in Afghanistan had a magnitude of 6.6 and occurred 133 kilometers southeast of Fayzabad.


According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter Scale hit 133km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, at 10:17 pm.
