Gangtok, 8 March : Joint Action Council JAC organized rally at Gangtok in MG Marg on theme ‘Sikkim Unity Festival’ by people in their traditional attire. The pPeople from all walks of life , children draped in their traditional attire carried rally with slogans appealing for unity of everyone. The main objective of the rally was to show the unity among the people of Sikkim with solidarity feeling.
There was some issue regarding the rally where JAC volunteers faced police administration warning on raising slogans and carrying rally in peaceful manner which indeed didn’t happen.
JAC earlier had appealed everyone to join the cause however many organisation disconnected themselves from JAC.
