Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology (SIST) located in Chisopani, Nandugaon South Sikkim successfully observed their 2nd edition of annual fest ‘Aikyam Fest 2023’.
The two day-long fest was comprised of various activity from music, knowledge , exhibition, art and cultural fusion. Jacob Khaling , Political Secretary to Chief Minister graced the event during the final day on Tuesday. Khaling apprised that the Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) is very much concerned regarding education policies , upgradation of all educational infrastructure and he shall continue to do so for making Sikkim one of the major educational hub in North East India.
An event showcased various levels of students participation with their respective performances all fields like demonstration of in-house projects , music, fashion , literature etc. The two-day long event was very much successful told students to TVOS which was very muck unlike than previous year which took place at CCCT campus adjoing SIST. There were also participation of several colleges the two-day long Aikyam Fest 2023.

Dr. BB Pradhan , the Dean of SIST expressed that the college has embarked a major transformation in field of engineering studies ever since its establishment, he further told TVOS that CM is very much aware and positive regarding flourishing the high education in state and typically engineering studies makes one elite in terms of career prospects.
SIST is the only Government Engineering Degree College of Sikkim located at Chisopani, South Sikkim. The institute is affiliated to Central University Sikkim popularly known as Sikkim University. The institute is established in 2018 under RUSA project, and it offers B.Tech in Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering. SIST is AICTE approved state government engineering college.
