Siliguri, 25 March : Tremendous number of Congress Allies of Darjeeling Locale fought taking a meeting in city in regards to ejection of Rahul Gandhi from MP. Heavyweight Congress Party pioneer Rahul Gandhi was as of late taken out as MP following Gandhi’s remark on ‘Modi’ last name connected with 2019 case. Gandhi has been convicted, sentenced 2 years jail term.
On the street, supporters of the Congress set fire to an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The police made every effort to stop the protesters, but the supporters held firm to their position. Supporters warn that they will continue to protest intensely if Rahul Gandhi is not re-instated back to MP post.
