Jorethang, May 4 : A free fertility awareness and treatment camp was organized at the Jorethang Community Hall South Sikkim by Noblestride Fertility and Diagnostic Centre, Gangtok, in collaboration with the Office of the District Collector (South) and the Department of Women & Child and Social Welfare. The camp was led by Dr. Bandana Pradhan Subba, Senior Specialist in IVF, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Health.
The initiative aimed to provide expert consultation to individuals facing fertility challenges or gynaecological concerns. Attendees were offered free medical examinations and professional advice on appropriate treatment options.
This marks the third large-scale camp conducted by Noblestride under the guidance of Dr. Bandana, who has been a key figure in advocating for fertility health across Sikkim. In total, the centre has hosted 15 free awareness and consultation camps across various parts of the state to emphasize that infertility is a treatable medical condition and should not be stigmatized in society.
Noblestride Fertility Centre remains the only IVF facility in Sikkim empanelled under the State Government and the Vatsalya Scheme, aligning with the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister to make fertility treatments accessible and affordable within the state.
The centre offers comprehensive infertility services, including In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), tube tests, follicular monitoring, and other advanced fertility investigations. These procedures are conducted on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to receive care without leaving Sikkim.
Since its inception in 2017, Noblestride, under the leadership of Dr. Bandana, has remained committed to providing ethical and empathetic fertility care. Their mission is to reach every corner of Sikkim, offering fertility solutions in a culturally sensitive and locally understandable manner.
