Sikkim CM Sri Krishna Pranami Mangal Dham Mandir in Namphing Bermiok , South Sikkim

20 Jan, Namchi (IPR) : The Chief Minister Mr. Pawan Chamling inaugurated the Sri Krishna Pranami Mangal Dham Mandir in Namphing Bermiok today in the presence of Dharma Acharaya Sri 108 Jagad Guru Sri Krishna Mani Maharaj, Acharaya Sri 108 Surya Narayan Das and 108 Dharma Guru Sri Padmavati Puri.

The inaugural function organized by Sri Krishna Mangal Dham organizing committee was also attended by SLA Mr. K.N.Rai, Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, dignitaries, Pranami Jagat Guru’s and a large gathering of devotees from of Assam, West Bengal, Bhutan, Nepal and Europe .

Addressing, the gathering the Chief Minister Mr. Pawan Chamling congratulated the people of the constituency particularly the Parnami devotees from the state and elsewhere on the successful completion and inaugural of the Pranami Mandir.Mr. Chamling spoke about hoe religion and spirituality is one of the basic institution of any society which is a universal social system of common faith, worship, rituals and customs. He implored on the sermons given by the Dharmaguru’s and advocated the need to preserve the sanctity of our religion that lays down principles of love, compassion, non-violence and perseverance. The Chief Minister also spoke about how the State Government has consistently unified every community thereby establishing secularism which gives Sikkim the status of the most peaceful state in the country. Further, he spoke about the State Government’s endeavour in erecting places of worship for people of all faith. Throwing light on the State Government’s ambitious projects the Chief Minister spoke about the upcoming Satsang Mandir and Thakur Bari Mandir at Pakyong and Gangtok respectively.

Reiterating, the recent declaration of Sikkim as one of the places to visit in 2017 by the renowned New York Times the Chief Minister spoke about how this recognition will further enhance the tourism sector of the state. He also highlighted how the State Government has tirelessly worked towards making Sikkim is the first and only Organic State in India, the cleanest, greenest and environment consciousness in terms of the rich bio diversity of Sikkim. Additionally, Mr. Chamling stated how the state government is working towards transforming Sikkim into a kutcha house free state apart from improving the overall infrastructure.The Chief Minister called upon the youth of the state to make themselves self reliant and self sufficient. Furthermore, he said that the state aspires to be included as one of smart states in the coming months backed by digital cashless transaction.

During the course of the program the Chief Minister felicitated land donor Yap T. N. Densepa. Felicitation was also accorded to Chief Architect Kiran Kumar Raisaily, Kamelesh Agarwal and B. P. Bajai.

Area MLA and Minister Mr. G. M. Gurung also addressed the gathering where he presented a brief detail about the mandir along with inviting the devotees from the state and elsewhere to visit the Mangal Dham Mandir.

It may be mentioned here that the Mangal Dam has been conceptualized, inspired, guided and steered by the Chief Minister Mr. Pawan Chamling. The mandir has been build with the total funding by the Government of Sikkim. At, the onset of the function the Pranami Jagad Guru’s from various places like Kalimpong, Orissa,Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Other highlights of the program were stall display by various SHGs under Tokal Bermiok constituency, exhibitions and organic farmer’s market.
