Barbaric Act of AH&VS department by setting fire to destroy hundreds of infants

On 14 March 2010 a group of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science , the Department under Governement of Sikkim set fire to 325 Chicks, 1750 Eggs of Krishna Kumar Rai, Rai who earns through poultry culture at Sisney, Jorethang. Joint Director DK Pradhan of said department instructed fellow staff to destroy the innocent chick by throwing them into a fire. Instruction were followed by the supporting staff AL Rai,Neema Karma Bhutia and whole process of brutal barbarism took place in front of huge public gathering as well as children, the event was witnessed by several intellectuals but their voices were crushed down while trying to speak against the said action of the department.

Baba Ramdev to make documentary on Sikkim

With a profound heart Baba Ramdev also stated that overall development of Sikkim is incomparable with any other states in India, the idea which others Chief Minister also need to learn from Chamling. In behalf of Sikkim he assured to make a documentary on Sikkim, which will also highlight Chief Minister’s dedication and effort in making Sikkim a prosperous state. He said that the copies of the documentary film in CD will be disbursed to all the Chief Ministers in the country and encourage them to work on the same principal as well as qualities.

24 hours Bengal bandh called by ‘Bangla o Bangla Bhasa Bachao Sameti’ today poured not too many difference since the traffic plied normal on the National Highway 31 A NH31 A. Vehicular movements between Darjeeling Hills and Sikkim was seen normal but movement of vehicles to and fro from Siliguri to Hills was also seen lesser in numbers due to the bandh. Being rude to his living political adversaries is understandable given his standard of immaturity, but maintaining ill-will and harsh words for the one who have already died is simply most unfortunate.

The Chief Minister of Sikkim should therefore, under the prevailing grounds, either tender a graceful apology to the surviving members of the deceased’s’ family members or immediately submit his resignation on moral ground as becoming of a member of a more civilized Sikkimese society .
