21st Annual conference and Sojong Nyungne Upsodh 2012 at Singtam

27 Dec,Mangan: The 21st Annual conference and Sojong Nyungne Upsodh(Spiritual Dhayana) 2012 is being organized first time in Sikkim at Golitar play ground, East Sikkim from Dec.27th 2011 to 1st Jan.2012. The programme is organized by All India Mahayan Buddhist Mahanipa Association(AIMBMA) in coordination with Singtam Pema Cholling Mahanipa Committee(SPCMC).
Today the programme was attended by Minister Health & Social welfare Department, DN Thakarpa as Chief Guest, Guest of honour Area MLA Khamdong-Singtam, Am Prasad Sharma, Rinpoche, Sangay Loday of Jaigaon, Doars & Tingkey Gonjang Rinpoche of Bojhoghari, Gtk, Singtam Nagar Panchayat Councilors, thousands of devotees from several states of the country, Bhutan & Nepal more than 60 lamas of different places.
The pooja is conducted for world peace & security. The programme started with lightening of lamp by chief guest followed by two minutes silent prayer for the departed soul of Sept.18th earthquake.
Then Rinpoche conducted Asta Mangalam Path and sharing of spiritual message.
The Chief Guest in his address said that, due to illness (health problem the Hon’ble Chief minister was unable to attend the programme anh he was being directed to attend the programme on behalf of CM. He also focused that, Sikkim is a holy place and we must save our tradition & culture positive thought and sake of all human beings.
The Guest of honour, in his address wished all a happy & prosperous new year and urged to give some time & concentration in religious programmes(spiritual dhayana) for peace of all.
