Public and contractor slams dept for negligence on road carpeting
It was estimated that 12,00 barrels of Coal Tar for pitching the road of 14 Kms road leangth but the department delivered only 400 barrels. With the supplied coal tar only 3-4 kms road could be pitched, said ex panchayat TB Rai to media and the contractor Sanjay Agarwal expressed his dismay to stop the work in half way.

Swift Punishment for Violence Against Women Counselling of Rape Victims
Ministry of Home Affairs has circulated a detailed advisory to all concerned departments of the State Government to handle rape victims at all stages from filing a complaint in a police station to undergoing forensic examination and in providing all possible assistance including counseling, legal assistance and rehabilitation.
