03 Oct,Mangan: Water and Electricity supplies is restored from today in Chungthang. Due to the 18 Sep earthquake there was a disruption of water and electricity in Chungthang almost for many days. It may be recalled that the communication medium is also badly crippled, to compensate the communication problem two satellite phones are installed at Lachen and Lachung Police Station for the general public. Today at 3:15 PM according to the report a feeble quake tremor was felt at North District headquarter Mangan. In other hand Pawan Hans helicopter ferried 40 people from Lachen,Lachung and Mangan to Gangtok. The team who had went to Tholung Gumpa for maintenance has returned back today to Mangan.
