21 Sep,Gangtok: India against Corruption Sikkim Chapter IACS expresses a deep regret over the calamity which our peaceful state on 18 Sept beard. The devastation has left behind scores of questions regarding security of human lives in the state with such nature’s brute force. The nature at its gist has showed its deadliest impulse with 6.9 magnitude earthquake for the first time in this Himalayan state. The consequence of which are now brewing up in the news every day, cascading lives of thousands of innocents civilians, houses, livestock’s and vegetations are badly crippled in almost 90% places within the state. We extend our grief to the departed souls who have lost their lives; we extend our humble cooperation towards thousands of civilians who are battling for the survival now after math. IAC central Committee has also extended painful grief over the incident, central committee has extended all support to the state to bring back normal.
In connection to the devastating incident IACS appeals the people to come forward for help to the affected people. Generous citizens can provide help to the affected people by donation to the nearest NGOs, Societies, Social Networks.
In connection to the helping hand during this distress moment, we regret to inform that Sadar PI Tshering Sherpa today over the telephone provoked nausea to IACS noble step as “420” (Char Sau Bissi), the phone was received by IACS coordinator Raghav Chettri. Further Chettri has simple replied ‘2 Lakhs people have a trust on us for our goodwill & movements if one person sees as 420 then it’s up to the people to decide and reply back strongly’. IACS Coordinator Rangpo Sanjay Agarwal,Sikkim RTI Forum President DK Chettri, General Secretary Ganga Rai along with several hundred volunteers have condemnds the language used by the police officer against IACS.
