Sathyan nair alias Daniel Hawk : Most Wanted Fugitive of Maghalaya Police

12 Sep, Gangtok: In one of the most crucial step taken by the Sadar Police, it has yet again proved to the national policing system for its stern & abrupt action. On 12 September Sikkim Police team has nabbed a MOST WANTED fugitive of Meghalaya. A culprit Sathyan Nair alias Daniel Hawk who had been absconding from Radar of State of Meghalaya Police under some rampant exercises past many months was scanned by Sadar Polic Team here in one of the hotel at the capital. The culprit was boarded in one of the hotel at capital with his 2.5 years old daughter past 1 month.
In this process a local business man Ajay Agarwal should be cheered for his clever action through which entire nabbing operation was conducted in collaboration with Sikkim Police as well as Meghalaya Police Authority. According to Agarwal who runs BSNL Broadband internet shop at new Market Gangtok, a culprit visited on 19 August for first time and greeted him in friendly manner. The culprit Nair alias Hawk continued to step in his business firm frequently, says Agarwal. Culprit told Agarwal that he wished to open up a Call centre at Gangtok along with some local investor , for the same the culprit Nair asked Agarwal’s bank Details, culprit also shared his details. Suspicious Agarwal enquired the Bank about Nair, astonishingly Agarwal was told by Bank that said person has NULL balance in his account. The bizarre of case turned more spaghetti to Agarwal, he surfed and searched internet thoroughly few days back, he came across astonishing fact that the person Sathyan Nair alias Daniel Hawk was listed in MOST WANTED fugitive list of Meghalaya Police Portal on Web in connection with SOHRA PS Case No. 5(3)2011 U/S 420/406/34 IPC. Knocked down with such fact then Agarwal then contacted the Meghalaya Police Authority about the person. Sikkim Police immediately received information from the State Police of Meghalaya for immediate intervention into the case and arrest the culprit. Meghalaya Police has cherished the bravery and early steps of Ajay Agarwal into whole operation.
