Army Light Helicopter goes missing in Yumthang Valley
An army helicopter if feared missing in North Sikkim after it lost contact with the army control room. The 4 seater Advance Light Hepter – ALH DHRUV was on a routine sortie of the 66 Brigade from Sevoke near Siliguri around 9:30 AM from where it flew towards Yumthang valley in North Sikkim, Army source said.
Upreti slams Chamling on LT Issue
If Mr Oroan is right than where did Mr Chamling send all those resolution passed by the house in 2008 and also thereafter ? Was this all his fooling game ? This is most unfortunate and astonishing fact and we condemn it in no uncertain terms. Even if the resolution had been sent to the Central Government they would have redirected it to the tribal commission as the subject falls within their ambit to examine.

CBI raid in RRI of Ayurveda
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today raided the office of Regional Research Institute (Ayurveda) under the AYUSH Ministry for Sikkim here at Tadong, Gangtok as part of its final round of investigations on alleged irregularities in appointment of four Group C and D level post in the institution.
