DHC rejects BJP's plea on Chamling's Indo-Nepal dual citizenship: SDF
15 March, Gangtok: The Delhi High Court (DHC) has rejected the writ petition filed against the Chief Minister of Sikkim Pawan Chamling by the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in 2009, this was said through a Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) Party Press Release here at the Capital today.
The Party has welcomed the decision of the Court, release adds that to scuffle a visionary leader like Pawan Chamling who’s also a follower of truth by bombing a lies and propagandas is simple not just possible from any baseless edges.
The party release states that during the year 2008 BJP President Padam Chettri along with South District BJP President Padam Sharma had circulated a series of bogus pamphlets which inscribed a dual citizenship propagandas of Chief Minister was an attempt to nullify pro-people’s thinking in the Assembly Election of 2009. The political conspiracy to bifurcate the attention and trust of the people towards the visionary leader by juggling series of rubbish allegation has come to shape today, the DHC has given a strong rejection to the plea, said in the release.
The SDF has strongly condemned the hooliganism of BJP hired demonstrators in Siliguri where few years back an effigy of Chief Minister was ablazed. The SDF in its release has jolted the motives of BJP In-Charge of Sikkim Unit Hirendra Pratap Singh for all attempts to tarnish the image of Chief Minister during the previous pre-election campaigns.
The BJP left no any spaces to tarnish a well know reputed figure of Indian Nepali Speaking leader of Nation. The Anti-Community forces like BJP tried to demolish the mission meanwhile Indian Nepali Community are battling for a separate identity and stand nationally, said in the release.
