SBJM thanks govt over trade license renewal

Sikkim Bihari Jagran Manch welcomes and Thanks Honb’le Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Pawan Kumar Chamling , Honb’le Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Gangtok Municipal Corporation for the proposal to renew Trade Licenses in duration of Three Years instead of One Year. It may be recalled that the Gangtok Municipal seeks Public Opinion whether the trade Licenses should be renewed after a term of One Year or Three Years.

The Sikkim Bihari Jagran Manch on behalf of all its members having Businesses in Sikkim requests the Gangtok Municipal Corporation to increase the duration of renewal of Trade Licenses from One Year to Three Years or Five Years if possible. The increment in such duration will be helpful for all Businesses throughout State, it will save Time and Money as the frequency of visits to be made by a Businessman for renewal of their Trade License will come down thrice to what would have been spent on Yearly Renewal. Moreover it will save time & Money of Government Machinery as well, as they have to renew the License once in three years and the time saved can be used for other productive and developmental works which will also benefit General Public on whole.
