Drunken US gets a slap for using abusive language and showing grudge
08 March, Namchi: Drunken Under Secretary serving for the Government of Sikkim was treated with slaps in his front of District Office today by the peacekeeper of South District. Incident was of today at around 11.45 am when Sub Inspector Seemer Pradhan Namchi Police Station was taking some accused at District Court for the case. US Bikash Rai was at his Maruti Van bearing its registration No. SK/04P/0438 parked at Non Parking Zone at District Court premises hurdling the way to District Court. When SI Seemer asked to move the vehicles and parked in the right zone the drunken US Bikash Rai scolded SI Seemer Pardhan with abuse languages and in return SI slaps him and arrested him. Sources and eye witness said that the US Bikash Rai was drunk and SI Seemer cooperate him and asked him to move his vehicles but in return US Bikash Rai used rough language and threatened him of his post and sources. SI Seemer was in his duty and cannot tolerate the mischief of Bikash Rai and in return he slaps him and was arrested. After the incident the both side FIR was also lodged at Namchi Police Station against SI Seemer Pradhan and US Bikash Rai.
When tried to contact with Police Officers they denied giving any information and said that incident had occurred and police were looking deeper for the cause of incident. Police Source informed the both side case had been registered at Namchi Police Station.
