02 March, Gangtok: 11 member delegate of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha GJMM top leaders comprising President Bimal Gurung, General Secretary Roshan Giri, Spokesperson Harka Bahadur Chettri and Asst Secretary Binay Tamang met with the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling at his residency at Mintokgang in the capital. After almost about two and half hours meeting in Chief Minister’s residency the media-person asked a president about the meeting while president was about to drove to Rangpo. Gurung said that was a ‘friendly courtesy’ meeting and do not involve any ‘political affairs’ as such. He said that the demand for seperate state Gorkhaland has intensified in Sikkim also which is very pleasing signal for the cause. Learnt from the president , he told to media that the Chief Minister extended his solidarity towards the victim of Sibchu incident. The CM urged the Morcha to find other mean of intensifying the movement instead it is affecting the lifeline of Sikkim NH31A Highway, said Gurung to media. He said that Chief Minister has assured all support for Gorkhaland cause. Later the delegate convoy left for Rangpo, West bengal border town.
