Republic Day Celebration wastage of money – Biraj Adhikari
24 Jan, Gangtok: Sikkim National Peoples Party (SNPP) today organized a press meet here in the capital where three members from Sikkim Himali Rajya Parishad Party (SHRP), officially Joined SNPP.
Mr. Jeewan Pradhan, Mr. Madan Rai and Mr. PD Lama were the active members of SHRP before joining SNP Reason for joining SNPP the three members said that SNPP is working for the benefit and up liftment of the Sikkimese and they even appreciated the able leadership of Mr. Biraj Adhikari and the principals of the party.
Addressing the media Mr. Biraj Adhikari informed the celebration of Republic Day is only wastage of money and fooling the innocent. Adding further said that the merger of Sikkim in Indian union have completed its 35years but still two constitution exist in the state, where as in a nation only one constitution is operational. Mr. Adhikari added that Sikkimese people are still confused about the actual constitution of the state.
Furthermore Mr. Adhikari said that Mr. Jeewan Pradhan had joined SNPP unofficially on 19th of January but today the party declared Mr. Pradhan to hold the post of president for east district, whereas Mr. PD Lama was declared as office secretary and Mr. Madan Rai as member.
Mr. Pradhan in his address said that during his service as District Superintend of Police injustice was made to me, so to voice against the ruling government considering no more injustice to be made in future to other police personnel he has joined this party.
Adding further Mr. Pradhan said that “injustice has been made to me by the SDF government but now I will work to the best of my ability to avoid similar injustice for the other police personnel. adding further informed that corruption is maximum in the state considering that now a movement involving the youths will be started in making Sikkim a corruption free state.

This man and his party has gone mad……they are so desperate to get the public's sympathy that they have started making issues out of no issues. It is this very party which had done such a stupid thing as called a strike on Reuplic Day earlier which was a major flop show.
They have no right to live in India. They dont know what they have and what they want and are going on opening their mouth with utter nonsense.
What do you make a party and of politicians who are getting posts on the very joining of a party. The crossover seems to be for posts and not for the benigit of the public. They are all out there to grab posts and start blackmailing the progress of Sikkim. In a few months time I wont be surprised if this same gang of cross overs are seen joining another political party in search of green pastures.

I think Mr. Biraj Adhikari doesn't know that it's the Constitution that gives him the "Freedom of Speech" to and talk all the s**t he wants without being prosecuted for it.
We have some old laws too but most of them are to safeguard the interest of the simple people of Sikkim.
I don't know about him but I am a Sikkimese and an Indian. I respect the Indian constitution and I wish all citizen of this beautiful state a very Happy Republic day.
And Mr. Biraj Adhikari, if you ask who am I, than I am a youth of this State. The one that wont definitely vote for you if you go on making a fool of yourself like this.
Sikkim needs rational, educated & dynamic leaders to guide it through an unknown future, not some dogmatic and narrow minded people.

This is an utter nonsense and act of foolishness of Mr.Adhikari. He has totally lost his grounds. On what context does he come up with such baseless issue and if he really dreams and wants to stand side by side of Mr.Pawan Chamling than he has to think something else rather than making such stupid issues. We are really shocked that such people who dreams of leading Sikkim has such insane thoughts. We are off with your politics and you are long gone as a politician Sir and Sikkim and Sikkimese does want leader like you giving a wrong message of Sikkim and its people on the national front. When our Chief Minister is making efforts to make Sikkim a happy and a prosperous state with lots of development and other hardship and we really does not take your ill thoughts into account. I think you must be heavily influence by the anti- national objects and also if Mr. Adhikari has such thoughts than you should probably change the name of your party and rename it as Biraj Adhikari Anti Sikkim and National Party rather than SNPP.
