07 Jan, Gangtok: The office of present Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC) “is a trust property registered in the name of Sikkim Sangram Party Trust and presently Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee under the Presidentship of Nar Bahadur Bhandari has been running the Congress Party Office” in the trust property. This is said in a letter dared 04.01.2011 to the Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim, from Mr. O. P. Bhandari, OSD (Legal) to the Chief Minister.

It is pointed out in the letter “That to use the trust property for any other purpose other that the purpose mentioned in the Deed of trust is contravention of the Law and the persons responsible for taking the Law in their hand are liable to punishment and the trust shall be cancelled and the trust property shall be vested to the State Government”
The author the letter requests the Chief Secretary to “initiate actions against the persons responsible for committing such kind of illegality, to cancel the Sangram Bhawan trust and to handover the property to State Government immediately”.
