Pistol seized in Namchi, husband arrested
29 Dec, Namchi: A husband reportedly tried to supress his wife by showing her a pistol, helpless wife lodged the FIR against her husband to the nearby Police Station in Namchi , as said. A person named Kiran Rai aged 32 hails from Boomtar, Namchi who possessed a pistol and his wife Mrs Poonam Rai who was suppressed as told in the report. To the police Mr. Rai said Pistol is simply a toy but police after an investigation revealed that the pistol was actually a real and was German made. Police have arrested the culprit and the registered the case under Indian Arms Act 1953 25 (1)(A)/D Arms Act , further an investigation are underway, as told in report.
