Press Release – Perspectives: An Exhibition at Rachna Books

Friends at Rachna is proud to announce an exhibition unlike any before.
The exhibition show cases the work of three independent artists – Bindya Subba, Roshney Modha and Birendra Rai. They have been working  in different mediums for the past three years – Bindia is a fashion designer; Roshni is a self taught designer working on bamboo, wood and paper as her medium and Birendra is a film-maker.  Though their mode of expression varies, there is a underlining unity in their source of inspiration. Nature in its different hues and moods would be the principal source of ideas that have been  incorporated into their colllective work. There is also a concern over its iminent loss and the difficult choices we have to make as human beings. The exhibition aims to promote and encourage more original ideas and hopes to create a dialogue especially among the younger generation on independent

expression of ideas.
The showcase of these three artistes will be on at The First Floor at Rachna Books from the 12th of December to 18th December. Everybody is invited.
