Indian Services examinations are one of the toughest to clear. But even though sooo many ISs in Sikkim, the present scenario in Sikkim is not good. So, why are they here?
All the good things they learn is only theoretically and not practically. Hence, these ISs examination should be scrapped all over India.

MR.O T LEPCHA SHOULD QUESTION AND REASON OUT AS TO WHY SO MANY IAS,IFS AND IPS FROM OUTSIDE …..THIS PLACE WILL BE ANOTHER MANIPUR …..SHOOT AT SIGHT …LIKE IN MANIPUR .

OUR DOMICLES(CERTIFICATE OF IDENTIFICATION) WILL BE SIGNED BY A NON DOMICLE HOLDER

Our bureaucrats should stop accepting free IAS,IPS and IFS just for their vested interest …and anyway they are weightless …and these outside IAS,IPS anf IFS have they own lobby and are just waiting for another few years to take over …..I have even heard them pass unwanted comments on our local IAS etc as they are just sign boards only …..

OT Lepcha sould be asking question on below given issues instead of asking such class two standard question:-
Durring training of IAS/IPS/IFS, they are not tought about Sikkim Subjets, old laws and save guards enshrined for three ethnic groups i.e., BL and Nepalies of Sikkimese origin in Art. 371F etc.etc., . Therefore, before taking charge in Sikkim they should be properly equiped with above laws prevailing in Sikkim .
    2. Politicians favour non-local IAS,IPS and IFS officers at the cost of local officers of Sikkimin , today IFS are appointed as HOD in Tourism, RMDD ,RC-Delhi, SIMFED etc. as if there is no IAS officers..Jnior IPS officer supersiting his own senior officer appointed as Home Secy.
    3. Post since inception of the department meant for local officers are today handed over to non-local IAS, IPS ,IFS officers.
    4. In Sikkim House Delhi, Mr. Nagar”s service is in extention since last 10 years after retirement.
    5. Asets of all IAS/IPS/IFS officers before and after their appointment in service.

blame our own attitude n education system that we dont have our own people in the all-india services apart from the promotee and nominated local officers…guess only one amongst all these ias is a direct recruit local ias in sikkim…
n ya our situation does not need to be compared to that of odr states, we r doin far bettr than them…..
As for their numbers the govt has to do something bcause the number of required all-india service officers for a state as big as ours is far too much n most of them are usually serving on deputation at d center…we are havin a really top heavy administration…
barring a few, the rest are really doing a good job for our state, far better than the local officers..jst go to some public office n interact wid them at a personal level u kno difference…

The gentlemen above, i gather, have no clue at all about how the IAS/IPS function. For example, Mr. Jingle, where in the world did you get the idea of comparing Manipur to Sikkim. Are you mad. Sikkim is a state which has not faced insurgency and underground (UG) terrorist groups. What do you expect the Govt Of India to do when insurgents are ruining Manipur. If you don’t understand national soverignty, it’s better if you do not comment. Moreover,Mr.Unemployed Youth, get over this local and non local discussion. If you embrace the non locals they become local, treat them as ‘madisay’ and they will reply in the same coin.
My brothers and sisters of Sikkim need to realize that they live in paradise. Just step out of that comfort and you will realize how big and bad the world really is.
    WAKE UP!!!
