Sikkim Vigilance Police, Special Branch exempted from RTI

GANGTOK, November 28 (IPR): As per notification No.144/Home/2009, dated 27.11.2009, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 24 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005), the State Government specifies that the above mentioned Act shall not apply to Sikkim Vigilance Police and Special Branch Sikkim Police Department.
