Dear Mr. Chamling , we are happy with your proving to make sikkim an indrakhil . But at the same time there are some emotional black mailing going on .
You went to Pelling for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the statue of Chiranzig …..but in the midst of all these happy moments ….why do you want to remove Pelling Senior Secondary School from Pelling . Don’t you think that this school too has its historical symbolic .
What has the school done ….has its existence been an obstacle . Today Pelling is famous and known because of its school as well and there after tourism .
All this is being done very silently and slyly …so that we ex students will not know about it …
This school has produced architect, engineers even Chief Minister and ministers …Tomorrow our kids will ask us general knowledge questions as to where and which school did our so and so CM studied and worked …..than what will be our reply ….Pelling …but than the question will arise where is the school .?????
If such historical schools can be shifted having historical background …than we should shift other historical places as well ….as they are being an obstacle. Is it so ?????
Dear ex students of this school ..this is an appeal….we should all reason out . Dear MLA P.L.Subba ….you studied upto class VII ….but at least let your poor village kids study further at their school which is existing very near their homes .

ANYWAY WHAT’S WRONG IN THE SCHOOL BEING THERE …..
THE SCHOOL IS ONE OF THE OLDEST SCHOOLS OF SIKKIM AND IT HAS ITS OWN SIGNIFICATION AND HISTORICAL BACK GROUND …..SO WHY TO SHIFT IT …
DON’T SEE ANY REASON AS TO WHY …..
WAKE UP EX STUDENTS AND THE PUBLIC …..ITS HIGH TIME ONE SHOULD SPEAK OUT …..OR AFRAID OF BEING LABELLED AS OPPOSITION FOR SPEAKING …..(FREEDOM OF SPEECH ) IS NOT AVAILABLE IN CHAMLINGS CANDLE LIT DEMOCRACY…..
Indeed its a great injustice….
Indeed it will be a great injustice if in the name of development our enviroment, history and our survival is attacked. Already we have sacrified enough , now should keep remaining for our generetion too. Man who talks about greenery & ecology , decorated with many awards should think twice before handing over Sikkim to outsiders.

Those who have really studied in schools know what school really is.If he really cared about Sikkim then there wouldn’t have un-ecofriendly projects which is hampering our environment.
