Gangtok, 23 Nov: The first ever case of Human Trafficking in state ends up with today’s judgment for convicting the prime accused two persons has left the BIG question for upcoming crimes in the state. The case was highly focused by the people of Sikkim, people were seriously waiting for reaction of court in the case. The first ever crime of Human Trafficking in Sikkim made through a narrow historical judgment by session court headed by session judge (East, North) Tashi Wangdi.
The duo culprits were arrested on 2006 at Pakyong for luring two innocent teenager girls under the Pakyong sub division PI Nima Chedup Bhutia. Under the section 5 of immoral trafficking Act 1956, sub-section 366 and 34 under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) the duo were sentenced to imprisonment of six months and court also levied a fine of Rs 10,000. In pretext to offer the victims better salaried job in Rajasthan at some Parlor. One of the victim made a fine tuning by calling her neighbor thereby the two person were arrested on the way.

The frst move is always the tuff one…so now sikkim also started human trafficing which means witin no time our state will be like any other states of india wit trafficing, muders,kidnapping,in short our state will be in terror soon……So far and till now sikkim never made any headlines in News n we rall happy wit the life we hv in sikkim so plzzzzzzz dont bring terror in our peaceful state…….dont make it a terror zone plz……….the punishment cld hv been more strict evn though i knw nothing about law…evn a small flame cn destroy the entire woods …..n these guys may hv the network ….we nvr knw……….only keep one thing in mind……crimes lik tis cn crack the peace in the state………
