Well Mr denzongpa I too feel the CRY of the entire resource acquisition and depletion of our Sikkim, Infact it saddens me to look at the condition of Teesta being reduced to a minor stream .But as i said before infrastructural development comes with a price tag and this time the odds are heavy on our natural resources. Iam against the wanton hydel power projects and i do sympathise with the people of dzongu trying to protect their natural heritage. We need to take a united stand aginst these greedy corporate endeavours.Yes i agree to the fact that development has not been sustainable in Sikkim and furtur hope that the stateman would come up legislations that are more sensative towards our natural heritage.

ATHINGPA ……..Myself being born and bought up lepcha from dzongu i think …. Mr lepcha’s father had no point of view regarding the dirty politics weather its the teesta project politics or the ruling state politics he was a simple monk…… concerning Mr lepcha image as a son than i bet he is the son who has taken action looking and respecting his ethic and culture point of view and i am sure that his father was very PROUD of him …..people like you who does’nt know wat YOU ARE talking about ……and whatever YOU SPEAK is the feedback given to YOU by other person WHO were once against giving rightS to lepcha AND U CALL YOURSELF PROUD LEPCHA CITIZEN …….WELL THAN U SHOULD GO TO HELL …….by the way whoever you are you must be from a very bad an rotten family BACKGROUNG …..criticiz a person about his work you dont have to come with an idea about taking name of MR LEPCHA deceased father…..YOU ARE SICK AND HAVE NO LIFE……….. ITS NOT JUST A TALK OF LEPCHA COMMUNITY,WHOLE OF SIKKIM IS BEING SOLD,SHAME OF THIS PEOPLE WHO ARE SELLING THEIR MOTHER LAND.I THINK THEY FORGET THOSE TRESS AND FIELDS OF RICE AND NATURAL BEAUTY OF OUR LAND NOW THEIR EYES ARE COVERED WITH MONEY STRIS.THERE SHOULD BE SUSTINABE DEVELOPMENT IN ALL,NOT A TOTL COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF MOTHERLAND.

Well the comments on the short article are indeed loud. We do hope that our natural resources are kept intact for our suceeding generations and it would be good if the statesman would think alike . Development should be sustainable and the people of sikkim should be sensitized on this issue.
